JUST KIDS incorporates The Creative Curriculum into daily planning for the early childhood setting. The curriculum is based on best practices for young children and focuses on the needs of individual children and whole group interaction. Teachers and teaching assistants are trained to reflect on how children develop and learn; planning a developmentally appropriate learning environment; observing children and their learning needs and styles; the teacher’s role and the family’s role in supporting a child’s development. The curriculum is focused on meaningful content in the classroom, skill development, and social competence.
