Speech and Language Therapy

The Speech and Language Department recognizes the importance of early intervention. Identification and remediation of speech and language delays in the preschool years provides the greatest benefits to early school readiness. The Speech and Language therapists work closely with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate a speech and language program.

Services are provided individually and in groups as mandated by each child’s Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) or Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). This includes but is not limited to the remediation of articulation/phonology, receptive and expressive language, auditory processing, voice, fluency, feeding, audiological concerns, and aural rehabilitation.
